Douglas Maple
Acer glabrum douglasii
A beautiful small tree, that does well in partially shaded areas. Its green leaves contrast nicely against the tree's red bark; fall turns the leaves bright yellow to crimson.
Habitat is moist soils, along slopes in coniferous forests.
