A fastigiate form of European aspen that gives the classic fluttering aspen leaf and a fast growth rate in a fraction of the footprint, making it useful as a narrow screen or vertical accent where a full- spreading aspen wouldn't fit. Like all aspens, it suckers from the roots over time and grows quickly, so it is best sited where some spread can be tolerated or managed.
