A trailing, evergreen shrub (A low growing, usually less than 15 feet, woody perennial plant without a central stem. Shrub with paddle-shaped leaves on long, flexible branches. Nodding clusters of tiny, bell-shaped, pinkish-white flowers give way to bright red berries that can persist until winter. This ground cover is suitable for landscaping rocky or sandy sites and can be kept pruned to fit smaller landscapes.
