Snow buckwheat is a beautiful, delicate white flower blooming in the fall. Silvery green leaves spread low to the ground reaching 15 cm. Its flash of white to pink flowers show in late summer and early fall. Creates beautiful white mounds 20-30 cm tall and wide.

Snow buckwheat is a great plant for rock gardens or drier areas of your yard. It grows well in sandy well-drained soils in full sun. We like to add this species to native grass seed blends to add colour to our native grassland restorations.
