A reliable sweet cherry cultivar grown for its heavy blossom display and firm, dark, richly flavoured fruit. Van is self-fertile enough to produce alone, but crops more heavily with a compatible sweet cherry planted nearby, and its spring bloom is a strong early-season draw for pollinators.
