Panicum virgatum 'Blood Brothers' (commonly known as Blood Brothers Red Switch Grass) is a striking, warm-season ornamental perennial grass discovered by Canadian gardener Dale Smith as a variation (sport) of the popular 'Heavy Metal' cultivar. It is highly prized for its upright, vase-shaped columnar structure and its dramatic, colour-shifting foliage that transitions from blue-green to intense shades of wine-purple and blood-red.
