President Grevy Lilac features showy panicles of pleasant smelling blue flowers rising amongst the foliage in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive violet flower buds. The flowers are good for cutting. It has bluish-green foliage throughout the season. The heart-shaped leaves do not develop any appreciable fall colour.
